The Sidney Lions Food Bank "helps those in need through those who care." We do that in a variety of ways but primarily by providing food hampers designated to supplement a client's food needs.
To receive a Christmas Hamper you must register at the Sidney Lions Food Bank. The cut off for registration is December 8th, 2017
To register please provide the following information.
1. Picture ID
Picture ID must be provided for every adult in your household.
2. Proof of Address
You must prove that you live on the Saanich Peninsula by a telephone bill, hydro bill, cable bill, or other official mail addressed to you at your current address.
3. Proof of Family and Dependents
You must provide Care Cards for each person in our household. You will be asked to update you information every 6 months.
4. Identification Must Be Shown
Identification must be shown at every visit to the Food Bank to receive your hamper.
Christmas Hamper Pick Up
To receive your Christmas hamper you must be registered and provide a Picture ID.
Pick up dates are December 13th, 14th, and 15th, 2017 from 9AM to 3PM. No exceptions.
December Hamper Hours
The Sidney Lions Food Bank WILL NOT be open for regular food hampers distribution during the month of December 2017.
The Sidney Lions Food Bank will re-open for client distribution and regular hamper pick up on Wednesday, January 3rd, 2018.
