The Saanich Peninsula Lions Food Bank "helps those in need through those who care." We do that in a variety of ways but primarily by providing food hampers designated to supplement a client's food needs.

The Saanich Peninsula Lions Food Bank will be offering a Christmas Hamper for those who have registered before November 30th, 2023.

Christmas Hamper Registration is Closed!
Registration starts Monday, October 2nd, 2023 and finishes Thursday, November 30th, 2023.
Those looking to register for a Christmas Hamper from the Saanich Peninsula Lions Food Bank must live on the Saanich Peninsula (North of Sayward Rd.), be able to provide identification and pre-register before noon, Thursday, November 20th, 2023.
The Christmas Hamper registration form is only available at the Saanich Peninsula Lions Food Bank it must be picked up and returned to our location at 9586 Fifth St. in Sidney, BC.
There will be no exceptions for late registration. Our Christmas Hamper is subject to capacity.

Regular Client Hampers & Produce Pick Up
Regular Food Hampers: The Saanich Peninsula Lions Food Bank will be open for the first two weeks of December 2023 for regular hamper distribution. Friday, December 15th, 2023 will be our final client hamper day.
We will open again for regular food hamper distribution on Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024.
Fresh Produce: The food bank will be open to clients for the distribution of fresh produce and dairy products all of December 2022, Tuesday and Thursday, 9AM - Noon. The last day for produce pickup is Thursday, December 21st, 2023.
Donations & Holiday Fundraisers
Donation hours: During the month of December 2023 the Saanich Peninsula Lions Food Bank will be open Monday to Saturday from 8AM to 4PM for donation.
If you or your organization are planning a Holiday Food Drive or fundraiser this holiday season please contact us beforehand to arrange donation bins, cash boxes, boxes, pickups, and everything else you'll need to make your fundraiser a success.
