Donate Money
The Saanich Peninsula Lions Food Bank is a registered charity supported solely by the generosity of the community, and receives no government funding. The Saanich Peninsula Lions Food Bank also does not solicit door to door donations. We are able to provide tax reciepts for all monetary donations.
Donate By Cheque
Please make out all cheques to the Saanich Peninsula Lions Food Bank.
We can no longer accept cheques made to the Sidney Lions Food Bank as of July 1st, 2018.
Donate Online
You can donate securely online through Canadahelps.org (clicking on link will direct you to donation page). We do not store your credit card information and use the highest level of security available for online donations. Canada Helps will distribute your tax reciept via e-mail.

Call us at 250-655-0679 and we are able to take your credit card or bank information over the phone. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Debit.

Donate In Person
You can donate by cash, credit, debit, or check in person at the Saanich Peninsula Lions Food Bank in Sidney, BC. 9586 5th Street located in Iroquois Park.
Donate Food
Food donations can be made directly to the Saanich Peninsula Lions Food Bank, located at 9586 5th Street in Sidney, BC. Food donations can also be made at all major grocery chains in our community including Save On Foods, Thrifty Foods, Peninsula Co-Op, and Fairways.
We also accept fresh produce, but some restrictions apply. Please call us first at 250-655-0679 before bringing fresh produce donations to the food bank due to limited storage.
We also accept personal hygiene products, diapers, baby food, and cleaning products for distribution to our clients.
As of December 2023 we will no longer be able to do donation pick ups at residential homes. This is for the safety and liability of our volunteers and donors alike.
