Since 1984, the Saanich Peninsula Lions Food Bank has serviced the Saanich Peninsula relying solely on the generosity of the community. The Saanich Peninsula Lions Food Bank receives no government funding. 

Our Mission

The Saanich Peninsula Lions Food Bank "Helps those in need through those who care." We do that in a variety of ways but primarily by providing a food hamper designed to supplement a client's food needs.

The Food Bank has been operating since 1984 to help those hurt by a downturn in the economy. Since our modest beginnings we have helped thousands of people.

The Saanich Peninsula Lions Food Bank is a non-profit, charitable organization run by a Board of Directors. The Board oversees the Executive Director, staff, and volunteers who run the day-to-day operations of the food bank.
